Hi-Way 9 Group of Companies is currently seeking a Customer Service and Administrative Support Representative to join our team in Cranbrook. The ideal candidate will be eager to make a difference in our location and contribute to making positive changes in our team.
You would be working in the front office and would be the first point of contact for our customers. Candidates are required to be able to complete administrative tasks to ensure the operation runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires an upbeat and personable team player with strong problem solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Promote a professional and positive work environment
- Data Entry
- Scanning documents
- Respond to incoming calls and e-mails and provide required information promptly and professionally. Could including POD requests, customer follow up, tracking, appointments, etc.
- Complete reports as required
- Other Administrative tasks as needed including supporting Operations
Qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in the transportation / logistics / courier industry is considered an asset but not required.
- An ability to translate the urgency of customer requirements into timely, workable resolutions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to resolve issues in a professional manner.
- Strong computer skills are required with a working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Etc.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From $20.00 per hour
