A/R - ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT
Brief description
- Assist the General Manager with various clerical duties as needed
- File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports;
- Greet visitors and deal with them in a courteous manner
- Open and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email;
- Perform general office duties, such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management database systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work;
- Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software;
- Input journal entries and bank deposits
- Reconciliation of Quickbooks
- Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
- Audit daily sales reports submitted by location management;
- Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required;
- Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained;
- Keep management informed of area/department performance and raise any significant problems;
- Manage Accounts payable's/receivables
- Maintain files, including filing of general ledger journal vouchers, accounts payable documentation, and other miscellaneous filings;
- Post data to sales journal;
Qualifications and requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Ability to adjust actions in relation to others' actions, and to manage one's own time and the time of others.
- Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, and to use logic and reason to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions;
- Previous experience a asset/will train the right applicant

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

- Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
