Assistant Inventory Analyst (12 Month Contract)

The Assistant Inventory Analyst will be based out of Dieppe, New Brunswick (100 Midland Drive, E1A 7G9). Reporting to the Product Lifecycle Specialist, the Assistant Inventory Analyst assists Irving Consumer Products in minimizing finished goods and packaging write offs while maintaining customer expectations. This role is tasked with preparing reports, gathering and validating data, participating in meetings, and follow up with other team members. A successful Inventory Analyst is analytical with a strong attention to detail. The primary language of work is English.

Job Requirements

• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Communication and organizational skills
• Experience with databases, reporting, and spreadsheets
• Analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:

Data gathering and preparing reports

• Extracting information from systems, formatting reports
• Distributing out reports to team members

Analyzing data and developing scenarios

• Assisting with investigating what’s change, following up with other team members
• Assisting with identifying areas where we have write off risk

Participating in meetings

• Assisting with presentation of data/reporting to help drive decisions when we have write off risk
• Taking meeting notes, following up on actions items after meetings

Maintaining data in systems

• Assisting with identifying data record issues in system
• Working with other teams to change of item stocking types in system
