Duties and Responsibilities Include-

• Knowledge of all promotions and events for the week/month

• Maintains working knowledge of company policies and procedures

• Performs foreign currency exchange

• Provides professional and courteous customer service in accordance with established company standards

• Accepts and pays verified wins

• Reconciles assigned cash float at end of shift

• Validates TITO tickets from slot machines

• Responsible for providing professional and exceptional customer service in accordance with established company standards

• Issues and receives Slot Attendant floats, promotional payouts, receives F & B floats

• Issues Slot and Lotto jackpots and cancelled credits

• Reports all operational exceptions/concerns to Cage Supervisors

• Verifies cage transactions when required

• Counterfeit recognition Slot Attendant

• Acting as a front-line guest service liaison, answering questions, assisting with orientation of games and the facility - working to create a positive gaming experience for all our guests

• Assisting in creating an awareness of and excitement for on-going and upcoming Casino promotions

• Seeking out and addressing guest needs and machine problems

• Clearing bill and ticket jams and checking game and voucher histories to maintain game integrity, answer questions and solve disputes

• Providing prompt, courteous service to ensure guests have an enjoyable gaming experience

• Keeping control over assigned keys and PTM card and ensure they are returned to the key cabinet at the end of the shift

• Working in compliance with internal controls, company policies and procedures and/or BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC) policies and procedures; report any violations and escalate to the appropriate level as necessary

• Acquiring and maintain a strong knowledge of all Slot operations policies and procedures

• Preserving gaming Centre and guest confidentiality while at work and away from wor

• Adhering to all Chances Castlegar, Berezan, BCLC and HR policies as they relate to functions of the position.

• Performing other duties as assigned or directed Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

• A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests

• Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills

• Manual dexterity, technical aptitude and trouble shooting ability is an asset

• Working knowledge of computers

• Basic knowledge of slot machine functions is an asset

• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

• Must be able to work in a fast paced, busy environment

• Must work well under pressure

• Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate

• Should you be successful in the interview process you will be asked to complete online BCLC issued courses prior to your orientation

• The ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
