John Ernewein Limited is a leader in Agricultural & Commercial Construction in the Walkerton area. We are located in South-West Ontario, 80KM from Kitchener / Waterloo / Guelph region.

What we’re looking for:

• Hardworking - working conditions require lifting of up to 50lbs, kneeling, crouching, working with your hands, doing general labour work
• Punctual
• Reliable
• Attentive to the instruction from experienced workers who will train!
• Quality, driven, and eager to learn

What you’ll be doing:

• Work with all different types of hand tools (air tools, a variety of saws, hammers, levels, measuring tapes, etc…) and equipment (telehandlers, scissor lifts, scaffolding, etc…)
• Frame walls, swing trusses, form pads, install steel roofs, install wall steel, push insulation, metal trim work, and much, much more.
• Our crews meet at the shop and leave together in company trucks.
• We work in almost all weather and provide sunscreen, safety glass, and hard hats. Tools are provided except for your tool belt, CSA Safety Boots, and a hammer.
• Safety training will be provided to successful candidates that do not already have it.

Hours of Work

• Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 5:00pm
• Friday’s 7:00am to 4:00pm,
• Hours can vary with job site distance.
• Overtime is paid after 44 hours - average working is 49.5 hours (5.5HRS @ time and half)

Open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: Carpenter, Framing, Steel Stud, helper, labourer

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
