Altex is a national manufacturer, in business for over 40 years and is looking for a Customer Service Representative for its regional office in Langley. You would be the Customer Service contact for all of Western Canada

Duties includes :

• Provide amazing B2B customer service
• Answer and direct emails and calls from customer service. Majority of communication is via email.
• Initiate consistent follow up
• Build relationships with regular customers, be their “go-to” person
• Treat quote requests, communicate back and forth between the client and the estimation team.
• Manage shipping and receiving, forklift certification is an asset, or willingness to obtain as part of your training
• Process warranty claims and report of quality control issues
• Support the outside sales team with information and service as requested

Requirements :

• Experience in customer service
• Good command of English in speaking and writing
• You are a clear communicator, especially via email
• Helping people is a passion of yours
• Autonomous, you can work on your own happily
• Positive attitude and professional approach
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• High school diploma
• French language is an asset
