About us -- Picton Dental Centre

We are an established dental practice in Picton looking to grow and expand our scope of practice. We currently offer all aspects of dentistry including, but not limited to CAD CAM & implant placement.

We are looking for a Certified Dental Assistant to join the Picton Dental Centre team!

Our ideal candidate is friendly, energetic, and a stickler for following protocols as per the standards set out by RCDSO and Public Health.

Some responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

· Setting up and preparing dental operating rooms.

· Genuinely interacting with patients to ease their anxiety or fear

· Chair-side assisting and charting

· Taking digital radiography with Dexis

· Taking down and preparing operatory for cleaning and disinfection

· Ensuring all instruments and equipment for in working condition

· Monitoring dental supply inventory on a daily basis

· Educating patients about treatment

Requirements:

· Successful completion of Level II Dental Assistant from an accredited college

· Willingness to learn

· Experience with Dentrix is an asset

· Must be available to work Monday to Thursday 8:00-5:00 **Three-day weekends**

Salary: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

• Prince Edward, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Dental Assisting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Dental Assitant (required)
