Who We Are:

Gorman Gear is a distribution company that sells products exclusively on Amazon.com. Working with us will gain you the full experience of sourcing a wide variety of products, processing them at our warehouse, and then successfully selling them on Amazon.


What You Will Do:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will help create a functional, orderly warehouse space and coordinate all shipping logistics. Daily activities will include organizing inventory, receiving shipments, processing and preparing orders, packing pallets, and scheduling outbound shipments with our logistics partners. The Warehouse Associate should have a keen eye for detail and should be capable of managing all inventory while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

How You Will Make A Difference:

As the Warehouse Associate, you will be the front line representative for all inventory management, ensuring that each item and shipment is packaged and shipped according to established guidelines.


Key Responsibilities:

    Organizing - Create and maintain an efficient warehouse organizational system that maximizes available space.
    Inventory - Maintain accurate inventory counts in an online inventory management system.
    Shipping and Receiving - Be present to receive and inspect all inbound and outbound shipments.
    Logistics - Coordinate with our logistics partners to ensure products reach their destination in a secure and efficient manner.
    Warehouse Management – Ensure a safe and productive warehouse environment by keeping an organized work area and restocking supplies as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Availability to work during normal delivery hours (typically 8:00-5:00 Monday through Friday)
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse using a digital inventory management system
  • Prior knowledge of warehouse operations including counting inventory and packing orders
  • Experience operating certain power equipment (pallet jack, pump operated lift truck, fork lift) is preferred
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to reach, pull, lift and carry items in the warehouse weighing over 50 lbs.
  • Must pass a background check
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required


Hours:

This is a part-time, hourly position and should expect to work 20-30 hours per week.. Candidate must be willing to commit extra hours when necessary for important events or time-sensitive tasks.


Compensation:

The compensation for this position, which is commensurate with experience, consists of a base salary of $25/hr
