Christian Core Academy

We are a small Christian school in Fort Collins, Colorado, serving students in grades pre-k through 8th. We pride ourselves on small class sizes and half day instructional days. Students are in class from 7:50am - 12:15pm Monday-Thursday, with staff reporting from 7:30am-12:30pm. Fridays are a work from home day! We are committed to teaching academics through Core Knowledge curriculum and classical education, as well as helping our students foster a love for Jesus through daily Biblical integration.

We are ministry based school, and believe our positions and staff must have a heart of mission work. The salary for our positions are $1500 per month.

We are seeking elementary teachers for the grades of: 1st, 4th and 5th. We are looking for teachers who can follow the Core Knowledge sequence and can create and deliver high quality lesson plans in the subjects of language arts, math, science, history and grammar. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience working with students, a passion for reading, and a desire to make a positive impact on the heart of our students by speaking the truth of Christ. A successful candidate will be organized and detail-oriented and able to create engaging lesson plans that effectively reach each student's learning style.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate curriculum materials to the class.
• Explain theoretical concepts to the class.
• Handle physical and emotional crises in the classroom.
• Manage student behavior and discipline problems in the classroom.
• Be able to answer questions from students.
• Manage multiple teaching assignments at one time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,500.00 per month
