Job description

Credentials:

- Actively registered as an EMR through NL Paramedicine Regulation (NLPR)

- Health Care Provider (HCP) level CPR

- Class 4 drivers license

- Class 5 drivers license

Work Setting:

- Private Ambulance Service

Skills & Responsibilities:

- Provide pre hospital medical care and transport. EMR's will work within NLPR protocols

- Transport patients to hospital or other medical facilities for further medical care

- Maintain ambulances, emergency care equipment and supplies

- Document and record nature of injuries and treatment provided

- Assist hospital personnel within provision of medical treatment, if necessary
