- You'll partner with different business lines to assess and document how data is created, transformed, stored, and moved in technical systems and business processes throughout the bank. You'll use this information to identify critical data elements - prioritizing these business activities.
- You'll review our data profiles and use root cause analysis to identify data quality issues. You'll share these findings with the Data Governance Manager and Committee to determine appropriate resolutions.
- You'll work with groups throughout the organization on routine projects related to data governance. Additionally, you'll provide guidance and support for these stakeholders to improve their data literacy and advocate for adopting data best practices.
- Minimum 2 years of related experience in MIS, IT, Process Improvement
- Excellent SQL skills, experience with Visio, VBA, R, Power BI a plus
- Strong understanding of Financial Services/Banking and/or Risk Measurement data, e.g. KPI, KRI, Metrics
- Experience in and understanding of Quality / Testing Methodologies and tools
- Experience in and understanding of complex application data flows across multiple highly integrated applications.
- Experience with data management and data governance tools and processes a plus
- Solid oral and written communication skills to effectively represent self and BOKF, as well as ability to present complex information and issues in a clear and concise manner
- Developing conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems that include interrelationships and dependencies in order to formulate effective solutions
- Developing organizational skills with ability to persist through ambiguity and move ahead regardless of barriers
- Ability to effectively plan time, method, manner and sequence of own work assignments while balancing the conflicting demands of stakeholders
