AGTA Home Healthcare, we are currently looking for Personal Support Workers, and Developmental Support Workers in the Newmarket and surrounding area's.

Personal Support Worker Duties:

• Activities of daily living such as grooming, dressing, bathing and toileting assistance
• Mobility and transfers
• Reporting changes in client behaviour and condition
• Meal preparation

• Light house keeping - Household duties such as cleaning, laundry and washing dishes

What we look for in our candidates:

• Possess a compassionate and client-centred approach to care-giving
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Requires good judgement, problem solving and assessment abilities
• The ability to work independently and work cooperatively with home care coordinators.

Qualifications of a Personal Support Worker:

• PSW certification OR
• RN/RPN/DSW/HCA/Personal Attendant certification
• RN or RPN students with a minimum successful completion of 2 year
• Vulnerable Sector Check completed / or willing to complete
• Experience working in the community as a PSW is considered to be an asset.
• Vaild "G" Class Drivers license ( Must be able to travel in between clients)

Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15 per week

Salary: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• On call
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Newmarket, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Personal Support worker: 1 year (required)
