Financial Analyst – Contractor

Responsibilities:

• Act as a support for all F&A matters related to Firmwide strategic investments; coordinate with functional finance and other central areas of the firm to ensure efficient processes and communications
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries to accurately record financials in the general ledger in accordance with the Firm's policy; prepare, automate, and deliver standardize monthly financial reports, including KPIs, and management-related financial packages and analyses
• Collaborate on the creation of the annual plan and quarterly forecasts
• Summarize financial performance for investment areas monthly; provide value added Finance and Accounting support to the firm’s strategic investment, allowing the firm to make informed decisions around financial resource allocations to maximize returns
• Play a key role in the design and implementation of new initiatives and special projects; independently lead and manage multiple investment area(s)

Qualifications:

• Minimum four years of recent finance and accounting experience, preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; knowledge of data retrieval and reporting systems, such as SAP/HANA and Hyperion Financial Management preferred
• Knowledge of advanced analytical and visualization tools such as Power BI or Alteryx preferred

The pay rate range(s) displayed is/are specifically for those contracted who will perform work in or reside in the location(s) listed below, if selected for the role. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including market data, ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD, technology), and specific location, for example. Additionally, applicants may be required to apply and become employed by a service provider utilized by KPMG, and final pay rate(s) and/or eligibility for additional benefits may be determined by such provider.

Pay Rate: $30-45
