Job description

1) To represent ADM Milling Co with a Positive and Professional Attitude.

2) Reports to shift miller.

3) To utilize Job Safety Analysis Worksheets (JSA) when applicable. Jobs that are not done on a day to day basis.

4) Assisting the millers on flour changes and any mill problems that may occur chokes etc. as well as starting up and shutting down the mill.

5) Weighing off flour production when changes are made.

6) Filling ingredient feeders and weighing flour additives as required, for customer specifications.

7) Bringing chemicals to the bulk room from the warehouse when needed and documenting the code dates.

8) Gathering flour samples every couple of hours for lab testing.

9) Transferring flour to loadout bins, checking tailings after each load is completed and documenting the findings.

10) Packaging & piling bags not to exceed 20 kg’s.

11) Picking up chokes and re-feeding product.

12) Maintenance day (Monday’s) clean the technovator, filters, magnets and other small maintenance that needs to be completed while the mill is shut down.

13) Practicing Safety Procedures for your coworkers & yourself.

14) Following all ADM’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) Policies.

15) Following the cleaning (vacuuming) procedures. Document all cleaning tasks that have been completed on the housekeeping record.

16) Complete necessary paperwork that is required throughout the shift.

17) Participate in tool box meetings.

18) Limit manual lifting to 55 pounds.

19) Keep yourself updated on all standard operating procedures (SOP’s) pertaining to the job assignments.

20) Keep yourself updated on new postings or memos that are frequently posted on the bulletin boards throughout the plant i.e. safety minutes, safety bulletins plant rules etc.

21) Shutdown unused equipment and lights when not needed.

22) Working required overtime.

23) Participate in scheduled meetings and training.

24) Breaks consist of two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute paid lunch period.

Salary: $22.37-$23.89 per hour
