This is a full time position with a day-time Monday to Friday schedule. The starting wage is $14.50!

Job Responsibilities

• Support culinary team in the preparation of food items
• Assures quality, courteous customer service is provided to all customers
• Serve customers on the line
• Light cash-handling duties, including processing customer payments, balancing floats, and deposits
• Clean and maintain all kitchen areas as per cleaning schedule
• Clean and sanitize all dishes, cookware, and equipment thoroughly
• May assist in receiving orders, stocking shelves, refrigerators, freezers etc.
• Replenish, rotate, and dispose of food
• Shall attend all safety meetings and participate in Client and/or Aramark Emergency Response Procedures
• Ensure adherence to Aramark’s Policies and Procedures as well as CFB Policies and Procedures
• Support team members in other areas as required

Qualifications

• 1+ years general help/facilities experience in service industry (culinary, hospital, hotel)
• Background check and finger printing required
• Valid WHMIS, Food Safe Advanced Certification, First Aid Certification considered an asset
• Must be able to work effectively and efficiently, supervised and unsupervised
• Must be able to lift, push, pull minimum 25 lbs.
