Job Summary:

The Ledcor Foundations team are currently seeking expressions of interest for various piling positions for new upcoming construction projects in the Fort McMurray region.

Positions

• Piling Supervisor
• PiIing Foreperson
• Piling Crane Operator
• Junttan Operator
• Screw Pile Rig Operator
• Drill Rig Operator
• Piling Rig Swamper

Responsibilities:

• You will work through various piling practices to ensure the safe execution of pile installation projects from beginning to end.
• Working in a small team of piling operators, labourers; use equipment to ensure accurate placement and alignment of helical piles, drilled and driven piles
• Perform equipment spotting, equipment upkeep, and site housekeeping
• Communicate effectively with other crew members
• You are a team player with a strong safety record, who takes pride in their work.
• Commit to daily safety toolbox talks, worksite inspections and ongoing hazard assessments

Qualifications / Requirements

• Previous experience in working on large scale industrial and infrastructure projects is an asset.
• Versatile Experience with steel driven piles, concrete cast-in-place piles, sheet piles, CFA piles, other shoring methods and tie backs will be highly regarded
• Candidates will have experience working in high traffic industrial settings.
• Must have a high degree of respect for safe work habits
• Must complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Ticket requirements – CSTS/CSO/BSO, Ground Disturbance L2, Wildlife Awareness, HS2 Alive

Work Conditions:

• This is a site-based role in Fort McMurray
• 14 days on and 7 off schedule
• Camp accommodation provided
• Travel allowance provided for those who qualify
• Benefits provided by CLAC
• Work will be outside in all weather conditions
