Job responsibilities:

As a SR Financial Analyst , your primary responsibilities will include
  • Month-end close processing and reporting deliverables including but not limited to the following:
  • Preparation of monthly journal entries including prepayments, accruals, amortization, and depreciation
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations and several rollforwards
  • Consolidation and analysis of monthly operating expenses including pivoting YTD activity to identify accruals as well as month over month activity analysis
  • Work with division controllers while reviewing their financial statements to ensure GAAP compliance and intercompany accuracy
  • Oversee monthly posting of corporate credit card program spending to ensure accuracy and completion
  • FX analysis and reporting to ensure accurate consideration of local currency valuation
  • Perform monthly variance and metric performance analysis versus the annual business plan, forecast and prior period results
  • Assist in the development of the annual business plan, twelve month rolling forecast and ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Review regulatory requirements as applicable to ensure compliance with location specific financial reporting responsibilities
  • Resource and execute on audit inquiries relating to review of all processes utilized for revenue recognition, SOX testing
  • Investigating balance sheet changes over reporting periods
  • Assist in periodic control reviews, including preparation of provided by client schedules, performing requested analysis, and fielding questions during the review

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
  • Big 4 / public accounting highly preferred; CPA license highly preferred but not required
  • Minimum 4 - 7 years of experience with financial close, financial reporting, annual audit process, and internal controls
  • General accounting knowledge (Cash, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, Prepaids, Revenue, etc.)
  • Must have strong Excel skills including proficient use of pivot tables, vlookups, hlookups, data mining and manipulation
  • Knowledge of ERP and/or financial systems. ERP integration experience and SAP experience is highly regarded
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 4+ years of accounting experience that include month-end accounting close
