Job description
Day-to-Day: Insight Global is seeking a midlevel Full Stack Developer for a large financial client. This resource will not be creating or working on any customer-facing applications, but instead will join a shared services team that is responsible for training and educating internal application development teams on coding technologies, so must be comfortable with this type of work. This resource should come from a strong coding/programming background in Java, JavaScript, and/or Python, and be familiar with DevOps practices such as building out CI/CD pipelines. Any experience with Terraform, AWS, and/or GitLab is a nice-to-have. This resource can sit on a HYBRID basis in Charlotte, NC or Detroit, MI.
Must Haves
- 3-5 years of experience in full stack development/coding in Java, JavaScript, and/or Python.
- Experience with DevOps practices such as building out CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with security/remediation.
- Strong interest in programming/coding.
- Willingness/ability to train internal teams across the organization.
Plusses
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, or GitLab
