Game OVR Entertainment is THE premium VR destination for Edmonton and Area.
We are a tight-knit team who are passionate about Virtual Reality and we spread the awesomeness of VR to everyone we meet.
We are seeking to add new team members who want to grow with us. This position is currently part time with the work primarily on weekends with some weekday shifts. We are located on St Albert trail next to Yvonnes Furniture in Edmonton.
Regular store hours are:
Monday: 2:15pm - 8:30 pm
Tuesday: 2:15pm - 8:30 pm
Wednesday: CLOSED
Thursday: 2:15pm - 8:30 pm
Friday: 2:15pm - 10:30 pm
Saturday: 11am - 10:00 pm
Sunday: 11am - 6:30 pm
Some shifts may sometimes be outside of these hours for field trips and private events. Overtime is sometimes available but never expected.

Required for the position
- Outgoing and Confident in large groups
- Fun, Patient and Friendly
- Willing to help and be proactive
- Able to work on your feet all shift
- Previous experience in working with children ages 5+
- Be willing to be part of our social media with videos and fun facts about you.
An asset but not required for the position is:
- Previous experience working with kids in a structured program or camp setting
- Experience in Sales
- Troubleshooting computer systems
- Previous experience with virtual reality
- Previous experience in an entertainment work setting
- Drive a vehicle
Your Tasks and expectations will include:
- Greeting guests with enthusiasm
- Giving tours and demos
- Giving guests tutorials and putting them into VR headsets
- Hosting birthday parties and events
- Cleaning the facility, maintaining equipment
- Having a working knowledge of all the games, experiences and escape rooms we offer.
