Guest Services Representative
Sand Tiger Lodge is an oil sands workforce camp located 43 Km south of Fort McMurray, Alberta on Highway 63 (near Hangingstone).
Sand Tiger Lodge is hiring for the position of Guest Services Representative. The position is full-time with benefits consummate with the current company policy. The successful person will generally work 20 days on/10 days off. This schedule may be subject to change as conditions arise.
Job Summary
- Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.
- Administering check-ins and check-outs.
- Providing front desk services to guests.
- Assigning rooms and taking care of administrative duties.
- Delivering mail and messages.
- Processing guest payments.
- Coordinating with bell service and staff management.
- Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice.
- Processing meal and beverage request.
- Accommodating general and unique requests.
- Diffusing conflict or tense situations with guests.
- Maintaining visual observation of the lodge's facilities for security purposes.
Compensation
- Day rate of $195-$220/day
- Benefits as outlined in the personnel handbook, subject to policy changes
- Allowance for travel, as outlined by the company policy
Experience and Skills
- 2+ years customer service experience.
- Must be proficient with computer skills.
- Advantageous having room-reservation software experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Conflict resolution experience.
- Patience and good listening skills.

Pay: $195.00-$220.00 per day
