Position: Haul Truck Operator

Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta

Type: Full Time, Hourly

Kichton Construction LP is looking for an experienced Bulldozer Operator to join our fast-growing Fort McMurray team. We are looking for an adaptable individual looking to learn and grow within our company. This position would work for Kichton Construction LP at a client location.

This position is local and will require applicants to have their own accommodations in Fort McMurray.

Successful applicants must complete pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing.

This position may be required to complete random Drug & Alcohol testing through their employment in accordance with the Canadian Model based on project and Client requirements.

The shift for this position is 14 and 7. 7 days, 7 nights, 7 off. The shift is subject to change based on operational requirements.

Employees will be eligible for Company benefits after completing 90 days of employment.

Job Summary

The Haul Truck Operator is responsible for operating a Haul Truck as it applies to various earthwork operations. The Operator will be required to operate machinery in accordance with all Safe Work Procedures and Client Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review, understand, and follow all safe work practices and procedures.
• Operate Machinery in accordance with all Kichton Construction Safe Work Procedures and Client requirements
• Complete various paperwork. This includes, but is not limited to, Hazard Assessments, Pre- and Post- inspections, and time sheets
• Actively participate in Kichton Construction’s Health and Safety program
• Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications

• Previous Haul Truck experience is an asset
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid Class 5 license
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or equivalent
