Welcome to Ribeye, Edmonton’s newest Butcher Shop. As an owner-operated business we invest our time and energy into our shops, engage with our team members, and love to connect with our customers. Ribeye is an open-air butcher shop serving primarily Alberta raised meats and gourmet-to-go-meals.

We are looking to hire and train enthusiastic and knowledgeable team members to curate the highest quality products and engage with our customers for our new location opening up in Manning.

As a Head Butcher you will be responsible for many different aspects of what makes Ribeye an exceptional butcher shop.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, Coach and Mentor the butchery team and the customer service team members
• Lead the butchery team in cutting, boning, tying, displaying and merchandising meats
• Breakdown all species in an efficient manner to minimize trim or waste
• Sausage making and grinding meats
• Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat roast
• Cut carcasses, sides and quarter of beef
• Maximize sales potential through efficient prepping, store, rotating, stocking and merchandising
• Ensure all customers are receiving that ‘wow’ experience
• Ensure all ordering and tasks are completed to successfully run the store
• Work to the Ribeye Shop Core Values
