WORKFORCE INC. IS CURRENTLY SEEKING QUALIFIED HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS FOR AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY 50KMS WEST OF TIMMINS. THE SELECTED CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A CLEAR CANADIDAN CRIMINAL RECORD AND HAVE THE ABILITY TO TRAVEL TO SITE DAILY FOR WORK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fully supports the Health, Safety, and Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) programs by participating in their implementation, maintenance and enforcement as well as compliance with Corporate programs and policies
• Takes proper samples from the circuit and performs production Quality Control tests required to ensure that quality standards are being met
• Collects and performs testing on product samples for moistures and densities
• Assists with the installation, relocation, and testing of equipment
• Sets up and operates typical mobile mining equipment – including but not limited to loader, back-hoe, grader, and utility trucks to move ore or waste or to support other mine activities
• Operate crushers, cleans, inspects, and monitors equipment
• Maintains, repairs, fuels, and lubricates equipment as required and as per the manufacturer's recommendations on a regular basis
• Performs other equipment operation and routine maintenance duties
• Maintains good housekeeping practices of crusher, floatation, and drying building
• Perform other duties as may be required and assigned by the Leader or Staff Supervisor

Key Qualifications:

• Valid G2 or better licence and reliable vehicle is required
• Heavy Equipment Certificates or DZ licence considered an asset
• 1-2 years in a Mineral processing facility is an asset
• Must have High School Diploma or GED
• Must possess intermediate computer skills and have a working knowledge of basic Excel and data entry
• Must be able to communicate and take direction efficiently
• Be physically fit and able to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day

Schedule: 5/5/4 with 12-hour dayshift and nightshift
