MeeT is looking for a Human Resources Admin Assistant who wants to help us change the world! We're an award-winning, rapidly growing restaurant group with new locations and ventures coming soon; the HR Admin Assistant is a big key to our success! We're passionate about doing everything in our power to create an amazing atmosphere for our staff to have fun while pursuing their goals. The HR Admin Assistant works hand in hand with the Owners and Managers to carry out the strategic people plan to help our employees thrive in their careers at our existing 4 locations - and the ones we're about to open next!

The Assistant will help perform a variety of HR and clerical duties, as well as assist the Head office TeeM and Managers with process improvement tasks. Daily tasks will vary depending on company priorities and current projects on the go.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the constant growth of our restaurant staff and managers by maintaining a culture of TeeM work, respect, and drive
  • Recruitment assistance
  • Staff benefits admin
  • Facilitate staff appreciation and milestones
  • Assist the operations and Ownership group in organizing and managing daily work activities to allow them more time to focus on company growth.
  • Taking notes at company wide meetings and summarizing action items for the management TeeM.
  • Use Google Drive for word processing, form development and spreadsheet creation and management to create helpful company collateral.
  • Help organize and provide access to company files so that employees have the information they need to execute their jobs.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in HR an asset
  • Professional HR experience an asset
  • Super strong emotional intelligence and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
  • Strong general computer skills, including comfort with Google Drive.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Handles sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • High School Diploma; undergraduate degree is an asset.
  • A Valid BC Driver's License and own car to be used for work travel from time to time is an asset.
  • Experience in hospitality and plant-based lifestyles are major assets
