Independent Sales Consultant for Window Fashion Retailer

Showroom Locations: Vaughan (Concord, ON) and Richmond Hill

We are growing! Trendy Blinds & Closets is an innovative retailer of window coverings (blinds, drapes/curtains, shutters, shades) and premium closet and storage system. We focus on the mid-market, offering custom made-to-order solutions and products.

If you are a self-motivated and highly disciplined individual interested in managing your own time without the constraints of set work hours or being an employee of a company, plus the potential for uncapped earnings potential through a high commission rate only compensation structure, this is the position for you.

We are seeking Independent Sales Consultant(s). After initial training, there is no set schedule or work hours requirements. No set sales quota, but active selling is expected.

Position requirements:
- College degree/diploma ideally related to interior design/ home décor/staging or similar;
- Retail experience selling high-ticket items where total invoice might be thousands of dollars (experience in home improvement product sales is a bonus);

- Ability to independently generate sales leads and qualify them;
- Demonstrate patience and enthusiasm in guiding customers through their product and finish selections, gently providing alternatives choices to meet budget;
- Proven ability to professionally and firmly handle price negotiations;
- Ability to quickly learn new software and online ordering and quoting systems.

- Willingness to learn and flexibility in scheduling customer appointments on evenings and weekends if need.
- Language requirements: English (other languages are a plus).
