Pro Paint Canada is an industrial abrasive blasting and coatings company based in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. We provide field and shop abrasive blasting and protective coating applications for both new and existing pipelines, facility, infrastructure, mining and tank work across Canada. Pro Paint Canada is looking for an experienced full-time Industrial Sandblasters and Painters to join our team in Burnaby, British Columbia on a long-term project. Once this project wraps-up, Pro Paint offers opportunities across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain sandblasting and coating equipment to project specifications associated with sanding, substrate surface preparation and abrasive blasting;
• Properly protect and mask sandblasting and coating work areas;
• General labour activities as required including, but not limited to, hauling of material, tools, equipment, etc.;
• Performing work in a safe manner in accordance with Pro Paint Canada's safe work practices, policies, and procedures and provincial OH&S legislation;
• Ability to recognize and correct hazards;
• Timely reporting of all incidents, near misses, spills and equipment damage to site supervision;
• Assist with other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age;
• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience industrial sandblasting and/or coatings experience;
• Familiarity with spraying and abrasive blasting equipment;
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with 3-year clean Driver’s Abstract;
• CSTS-2020;
• Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive Certification;
• Energy Safety Canada Confined Space is considered an asset;
• Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection is considered an asset;
• Energy Safety Canada MEWP is considered an asset;
• Must be able to pass pre-employment fitness screening and pre-access drug and alcohol testing.

• Ability to communicate effectively;
