We are a privately owned company with 2 locations, Potsdam NY and Malone NY. We represent the leading manufacturers in the electrical industry and exceed at servicing our local market.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Everything Electric is looking for a sales professional to join our team in Potsdam, N.Y. The candidate would be comfortable working in a fast-paced, sales environment. We are a small office that works together as a team to provide outstanding service to our customer base.

This Counter Sales position will be responsible for most of the day to day business at the front counter. Being customer focused and having sales experience is a must. QUALIFICATIONS

• Industry Experience preferred
• Background in Electrical distribution product such as gear, automation, industrial control, safety a plus
• Ability to communicate proficiently with customers via face-to-face, phone, and email
• Familiar with desktop applications such as Excel, Word, E-mail, and internet
• Ability to organize, prioritize and effectively multi-task daily
• Ability to work with a team successfully

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help customers that walk into our counter, write and process sales tickets
• Warehousing duties – receiving, shipping, checking & filling orders
• Answering phone and taking over-the-phone sales calls when necessary
• Record and File documentation physically and on a computer
