The Opportunity:

As the Inventory Control Manager, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing all company ingredient, packaging and finished goods inventory in both the Manufacturing and Warehouse facilities, as well as a 3PL offsite warehousing facility.

The candidate will be required to conduct training of Warehouse associates (drivers, Inventory clerks and/or specialists), ensure maintenance of balanced inventory records and associated inventory counts, conduct inventory analysis and implement initiatives and/or industry best practices; to reduce material waste due to damage, minimize inaccurate inventory reporting activity and eliminate shrinkage/theft.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

  • Support inventory control and supply chain functions.
  • Working with Operations, Supply Chain, and Warehousing, analyze current procedures and optimize for efficiency, cost reduction and greater customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate cycle and year-end inventory counts at multiple warehouses and reconcile in transit inventory
  • Develop action plans to effectively manage inventory levels and to optimize inventory stock requirements
  • Ensure accurate Min/Max levels and costing are accurate for all inventoried items.
  • Address inventory issues as they arise; identify root causes to fix
  • Enforce inventory management policies and procedures compliance within the organization
  • Run and reconcile inventory valuation reports from all warehouses.
  • Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages, system and physical count.
  • Investigate inventory variances, determining root cause and action process improvements
  • Coordinate Inbound and Outbound loads from 3PL warehouse to main warehouse and vice versa.
  • Coordinate inventory adjustments and posting in SAP system.
  • Assist in system implementations and integrations in the system.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Post-secondary school graduate of Supply Chain Management / Inventory Management or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Works well in a TEAM dynamic/ environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with SAP highly preferred
  • Experience with Batch-Master system an asset
  • Process improvement skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to change in a dynamic environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay
