Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish a variety of computer hardware, including PCs, laptops, monitors, servers and other IT equipment
- Manage inventory of equipment, including collaborating on potential purchases
- Disassemble, pack, move and set up/install on site
- Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters
- Help test functionality and support end users
- Image and prepare new computers
- Dismantle, box and ship outdated equipment
- Install printers, troubleshoot problems and make repairs
- Coordinate with the appropriate vendors to arrange repairs
- Document all daily data communication transactions, issues and solutions or installations
- Troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix
- Actively listen for customer cues and ability to resolve problems with grace and integrity
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience in a multi-faceted company
- High attention to detail and possesses
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Active problem solver
- 1+ years of experience with PC and Mac hardware and software, and an understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds
- An understanding and/or experience of networking (switching and routing) is highly valued
- Knowledge and understanding of how domain users work in active directory
- Deep understanding of PC skills
- Proven knowledge of System Configuration
- General familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
- Software Upgrades experience highly desired
- Foundational knowledge in PC Software
- Understanding and previous experience with asset management
- Solid understanding of Desktop Support
- Proven ability to adapt to change in procedures and job assignments
- Experience with MDM is a plus
- Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with changes in priority
- Able to provide professional level customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
