Kate's Garden is seeking Experienced Gardeners to join our Gardening Services Team for full-time, permanent positions. Based out of Main Street Markham North, and servicing predominantly York Region, Kate's Garden is known for: excellent garden care, renovating gardens, creating beautiful new gardens, hardscaping and garden carpentry. Our Gardening Services division is integral to our Botanical Boutique, Floristry and Workshop business. Since we are so diverse, our services are diverse and the opportunities to advance are diverse. Though our company is 24 years old, we are rapidly growing.

We are looking for positive people with a strong work ethic, staying power and at least two years of experience. We are searching for Team Members who love to work outdoors, be connected to nature, love plants and gardens, enjoy working in teams and who like to stay fit.

Certification (skilled trade, college or university diploma in landscape and horticulturally related programmes) will provide wage rate premiums.

44 hour weeks are typical with more hours available in high season (May to August) . Days begin at 7:30 am. Rare but occasional Saturday morning work should be expected during high season if we experience weather delays. Lay off period is eight weeks in January and February as we do not cut grass and we do not do snow.
