Law Clerk – Estate Administration, wills and corporate law

Location: Orangeville, ON

White Law Professional Corporation is a reputable law firm that serves Orangeville and the surrounding area including Dufferin County, Caledon, and Wellington County. We pride ourselves on providing our clients excellent service as well as practical cost-effective advice. The firm’s areas of practice include real estate, wills and estates, and corporate/business law.

Key responsibilities and expectations include:

· Ability to manage and draft court applications for appointing estate trustees

· Drafting all required documents for the administration of an estate, including accounts

· Communicate with other law offices and financial institutions

· Drafting wills and power of attorney documents

· Management of corporate files handling various matters including: due diligence searches, incorporations; amalgamations and changes in corporate articles, annual resolutions, dissolutions, minute book maintenance, share and assets transactions

· Assist with client communication and account preparation

Your skills and experience:

· Law clerk diploma or 5 + years of experience

· Aptitude with the following software: Estate-a-base or Estatably, PC Law, Teraview, Unity, Fast Company, MS Office

· Adaptability and attention to detail

· Effective communication and client management skills

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (1 hour for lunch)

Salary: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
