Come join our fast paced growing Oral Surgery practice. We pride ourselves on exceptional patient care with a great team focused office. The Licensed Dental Assistant works closely with our oral surgeons and nursing staff. Some of the job duties are:

• Prepare treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Prepare patient for surgery by welcoming, comforting, and seating patient.
• Assist oral surgeon with surgical procedures such as extractions, biopsies, implant placement, and bone grafts among other procedures.
• Take CBCT scans, periapical x-rays, and intra oral scans as prescribed by surgeon.
• Help surgeon manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification and emergency drug and oxygen supply.
• Educate patients by giving postoperative instructions.
• Document dental care services by charting in patient's electronic records.
• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by abiding by HIPPA.
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Schedule:

• Monday thru Friday 7:30-4:30
