Banyan Treatment Centers is recruiting a full-time Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance services at a facility in Wasilla, AK. We will be providing services to a primary substance use disorder population, specializing in treatment for Veterans and active duty members


Schedules Available:

This maintenance profession will maintain all interior and exterior building needs for entire property, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, new construction, remodeling, renovation, painting, and repairs.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists, promotes, and carries out property maintenance.
  • Maintains all buildings, common areas, and patients living areas conscientiously.
  • Maintains all interior and exterior building needs for entire property, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, new construction, remodeling, renovation, painting, and repairs.
  • Replaces and repairs all maintenance items in order to ensure property zoning, building, fire, safety and health codes and specifications are in compliance.
  • Installs and maintains all appliances, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Communicates general maintenance observations and issues to Manager
  • Participates in Performance Improvement, Maintenance Committee, and others as requested.
  • Maintains good public relations with treatment community and associates.
  • Maintains up-to-date training in electrical, plumbing, construction, carpentry and other areas mandated by organizational policies.

Qualifications:

  • Some college, preferred.
  • At least one year of maintenance experience, required.
  • Personal vehicle for maintenance services.
