Canadian Beauty disruptor Susanne Langmuir (Founder, Bite Beauty & The Lip Lab) is launching Lixr Beauty within her flagship location on Queen West: Clean beauty made fresh with Farm-to-Face ingredients for healthy skin & lips.

We are seeking a Make-up Artist to play a leading role in the development and launch of this revolutionary beauty brand. If you are an experienced colour expert
(complexion / skin tone analysis) with retail experience, this could be the ideal fit for you.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail experience in makeup /skincare, including product consultations and make-up applications.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Experience in creating and executing impactful in-store events.
• An eye for accurately assessing skin tone, undertone, and complexion.
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events.
• Previous experience with retail POS and software.

Duties: .

• Creation of customized colours for clients that match their skin tone and colour preferences (training will be provided).
• Create a memorable experience for clients by ensuring they receive the best possible service and colour recommendations.
• Make-up application and curation of highly customized colour palettes.
• Participate in regular cleaning to help maintain custom foundation bar, and testers ensuring a hygienic and clean environment.
• Merchandising, store display & event Set-Up.
• Assist with maintaining the required inventory levels to include stock counts, rotation, timely replenishment.

Schedule: Part Time (20-25 hours per week)
