Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in the DMV area. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working in a medical setting and be familiar with the medical procedures and terminology.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting physicians and other healthcare providers with patient care
- Performing routine clinical tasks, such as taking vital signs and drawing blood
- Preparing and administering medications as directed by the physician
- Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
- Maintaining accurate and complete patient records
- Communicating with patients and other healthcare professionals
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience working in a medical setting
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures and terminology
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
