Medical Office Assistant
Our ideal candidate takes the initiative to work independently to produce results with little supervision. If you have a strong work ethic and can-do attitude to work collaboratively with our medical office team then this role may be for you!
Skills Required:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions exactly per each physician’s specific requirements
- Has a gracious telephone manner and is comfortable calling patients
- Enjoys and has good people skills to interact with the public
- Works well on their own at a work station or as part of the office team.
- Maintain focus in a busy, distracting office environment.
- Extremely patient and able to maintain composure.
Job Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide support with the running and flow of the medical clinics for two physicians.
- Assisting with clinical trial patient recruiting and scheduling.
- Patient greeting upon entry to office.
- Updating and ensuring accuracy of collection of patient information.
- Assisting with the Phototherapy treatment clinic.
- Work as needed to support front desk reception, and covering for staff absences.
- Must be able to work late one night a week (typically Wednesday).
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records software is a definite asset.

- Likes to take decisive action, learning every day, working in a fast-paced environment, and interacting with areas within the organization.
- Keeping work area clean and well organized.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Salary: $20.00 per hour
