YOUR DAILY ROLE
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Office Administrator will be involved with the following:
- Acts as the main office receptionist for all phone calls as well as visitors and contractors ensuring proper GMP and safety policies are acknowledged;
- Monitoring of security sign-in system and coordination of contractor security access cards;
- Assists with inventory reporting, tracking, analysis and production reconciliation, as well as audits;
- Inputs and processes information to internal computer applications;
- Compile and assist with resource use data for annual environmental reporting;
- Financial data support and reporting for departments as needed;
- Coordinate and assist with postage and courier services, delivery advice;
- Digitization of documentation, receiving documents, corresponding purchase orders, and other files;
- Assist with maintaining office supplies inventory;
- Participate in Health & Safety and Food Safety tours to build a culture of continuous improvement;;
- Participates and provides support to operations;
- All other general office duties as required.
YOUR PROFILE
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes and skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary program in administration or HR is an asset;
- proficient spoken and written English, Spanish or French are an asset;
- punctual, meticulous, flexible, reliable, able to work in a safe and efficient manner;
- knowledge of accounts payable processes and requirements;
- ability to prioritize and demonstrate effective change management skills;
- strong computer skills, written and verbal communication skills;
- highly engaged team player, able to research and work independently;
- strong decision making, organizational, and critical thinking skills;
- excellent interpersonal skills, communicative, collaborative, able to liaise well with a diverse workforce;
- positive attitude, responsive, action and results-orientated.
