PDS Transportation Services, Inc. is seeking a talented individual to join our sales team. If you have an energetic attitude, an entrepreneurial mindset coupled with a strong work ethic and a desire to build your career in a supply chain solution environment, this is the opportunity for you.

The Opportunity:

* Develop YOUR business within our business utilizing all of PDS's current network.

* Connect and cultivate relationships with both customers and carriers.

* Work together with other solution minded individuals within the PDS team.

* Identify potential customers through planned daily solicitation via cold calling, email, social media, referrals and other networking tools.

The Employee- preferred skills:

* Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively across the company.

* A strong knowledge of both sales and operations in the 3rd Party market.

* Excellent customer service skills which include but not limited to:

- Both verbal and written communications

- Ability to handle conflict professionally

- Provide insightful resolutions - problem solving

* Honest, strong work ethic resourceful and possessing effective negotiation skills.

* College Degree preferred

* MUST RESIDE IN THE CHICAGOLAND AREA

The Company:

* Base salary plus commission

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
