Cascade Eye Center is looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to join our fast paced clinic.
Key tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Front Desk Receptionist to check patients in/out, manage a large volume of incoming/outgoing calls, computer scheduling, preparing and filing charts, collecting copays/balances due and any other related tasks/assignments as necessary.
- Optician to assist patients with making personal product recommendations, dispensing, adjusting and repairing eyeglasses, as well as contact lens insertion and removal training.
- Ophthalmic Technician to obtain patient history through intake assessment and record data into EMR. Perform visual acuity, auto-refraction, manual lensometry and tonometry tests. Check pupils, extra ocular muscles, and confrontation fields. Operate clinical testing equipment, insert eye drops for dilation, and scribe for Doctors.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to transition from sitting to standing throughout the day.
- Must be able to communicate via phone, email and instant messaging.
- Must be able to view and type in computer data.

Healthcare experience preferred, but will train the right candidate if you have a desire to progress in the healthcare industry!
Commuting between both The Dalles and Hood River locations will be required for training, meetings, and coverage as needed.
