Job description

Responsibilities

  • Read work instructions, follow drawings and verbal directions as necessary to accomplish tasks
  • Ability to effectively perform high and low-temperature soldering
  • Installs components and parts such as micro-controllers, resistors, capacitors, switches, coils, transformers, relays, transistors, and integrated circuits on circuit boards, panels, and other units
  • Check the bill of materials (BOM) for printed circuit board assembly to ensure availability of components
  • Identify and organize printed circuit boards and components for assembly
  • Inspect circuit components for defects and correctness in accordance with the BOM
  • Assemble circuit components on circuit board or other accessory product chassis as required
  • Inspect PCB assembly work (component layout, soldering) in process to maintain adherence to acceptable standards
  • Inspect finished PCB assembly work (component layout, soldering) to ensure adherence to acceptable standards
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned
  • Comply with a Spartek Systems Company and HSE procedures and policies

Qualifications / Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Soldering and wire crimping skills
  • IPC—610 Electronic Assembly Acceptability Training or previous experience as an Assembler is a plus
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to identify and read values of common electronic components
  • Typical Work Hours: 7:30am – 4pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $23.00 per hour
