Lead Teacher Summary

Lead Teacher will work with i preschool age groups along with school age children

Sunrise-Sunset Preschool & Childcare Center is looking for a teacher that has great enthusiasm, patience, and a caring, kind heart. He/she will have great classroom management techniques and strong desire to make a difference in the lives of young children. Most importantly, we are looking for a teacher that wants to bear the responsibility of shaping their students' attitudes towards learning - attitudes that will last a lifetime

Responsibilities:

• Plan developmentally appropriate lessons, fine motor, gross motor, sensory, art,music and story time
• Observe and document children's learning while often differentiating lessons to those who need more support and those who need more of a challenge
• Implement consistent procedures, transitions and routines throughout the day
• Communicate effectively with students' families and encourage parental participation in every aspect of learning
• Promote a safe and healthy environment while attending to children's basic needs
• Passion for the teaching and guiding young children, as well as the knowledge that each student is an individual and needs to be treated as such
• Strong communication skills with staff, parents and management
• Follow ND licensing policies and procedures along with Center licensing policies and procedures and performing all other job duties per job description
• Must pass background check

Competitive pay and benefits: $13.00 hr

• Available Monday-Friday. Start/End times will be dependent on schedule (Center is open 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.)
• Full time hours, up to 40/week
• Part time hours, depending on shift.
• Pay and benefits (Paid Holidays and PTO) are subject qualifications, experiences and the job title seeking
• Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided at no cost to staff. Prepared by our on-site chef
