Now hiring Probation Officers for the Winnebago County Department of Court Services, ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS.

Full-Time positions with a starting salary of $43,795 - $44,214 annually, depending on assigned unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervision and case management of defendants.
• Conduct risk assessments, interviews and referrals.
• Write pre-sentance and court reports.
• Maintain and update files.
• Collaborate with the court, outside agencies, families and schools.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• BACHELOR'S DEGREE MANDATORY, preferably in the field of social science, behavioral science or criminal justice.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in counseling, probation or corrections and related fields desirable.
• Must be a resident of the State of Illinois within 90 days of hiring or obtain an approved exemption.
• Must submit a state application for Probation and Court Services employment at: http://www.illinoiscourts.gov/Administrative/forms/Probation/Employment
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
