Job Description:

As a leading Healthcare audit firm, our mission is to connect industry specialized knowledge with innovative technology, our dedicated professionals create value for our clients with integrity and objectivity. As a Product Manager in the Healthcare delivery unit, you will be responsible for delighting customers with impactful products that reduce risk, drive data driven results and ultimately decrease hours spent on tedious manual processes. You will seek market and customer feedback and collaborate with business stakeholders, technologists, and marketing to meet and exceed the goals for the offering. You are a critical advocate for your product and its impact on customers.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have 3+ years in a product related role (product owner, product manager, product analyst).

  • Have 3+ years of experience with Agile or Scrum or SaFe trained development teams.

  • Have a bachelor’s degree or Advanced Degree in Business Management or related field

  • A Product Management Professional certification from a recognized organization is preferred.

  • Have excellent written/oral communication, organizational and time management skills.

  • Have excellent interpersonal skills; proven experience working as both a leader and member of a team

  • Have proven track record in identifying all product stakeholders and manage internal and external stakeholder expectations

  • Follow established policies, procedures, processes, and standards for product management

  • Have ability to take the initiative and accountability for achieving results

  • Have demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to accurately analyze information and make sound decisions

  • Have flexibility to partner with and negotiate with various personality types at all levels within and outside the organization

  • Be able to articulate the value of the products under your leadership to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Have the ability to empathize, be a critical thinker strong with presentation and facilitation skills

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills and passionate about building digital products.

  • Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making.

  • Curious and comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers, senior level clients and day to day users.

  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.

  • This position requires up to 20% travel.

What will set you apart from other candidates for this role:

  • Have 3+ plus years of healthcare revenue cycle industry experience is a must

  • Experience working with healthcare providers, health systems or the healthcare industry

  • Experience developing/implementing a revenue cycle product

  • Experience translating revenue cycle business needs into technical requirements to build and transform data into valuable, easy-to-understand insights

  • Previous success of managing offshore resources

  • Understanding of revenue cycle consulting

  • Strong financial, analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Partner with leadership and other stakeholders on product vision / direction, translating into actionable requirements for product owner to bring to the development team.

  • Own and communicate product-specific roadmaps that align with product owner’s mid and long-term vision for the product.

  • Collaborate with product owner on backlog management & iteration planning while balancing the requirements of customers and stakeholders - owning the decision to pivot when necessary.

  • Communicate with current and potential customers to understand their processes and needs to translate into product requirements and help customers get the greatest value from product solutions.

  • Monitor efficacy of product and implement customer and business partner feedback to ensure product is meeting customer needs across each segmentation, adjusting product over time to continue to achieve the desired outcomes.

  • Partner with growth and voice of customer team to analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for product enhancements.

  • Solve product related problems, make decisions, and complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.

  • Understand and know how to leverage the product lifecycle, which spans a range of strategic and tactical responsibilities that evolve as a product matures.

  • Must understand and represent the voice of the market to various stakeholders and drive decisions based on market data.

  • Be Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information.

  • Create standard documents like (but not limited to) the market requirements document, product requirements document, business case and end of life documentation etc for a product.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders and Product Development to prepare a product roadmap that illustrates the product vision and is responsive to changing market conditions.

  • Develop and maintain a business proposal that makes a compelling case for continued investment into your products.

  • Determine and/or assess product pricing in conjunction with market research and customer interviews.

  • Participate in creation of user stories, features, and epics for current and future products based on the market’s problems.

  • Able to create a buy-build-partner analysis, and where necessary, review potential partner relationships for the product.

A Customer & Market Expert:

  • The foundational role of a PM is to understand your customers and their market.?

  • Empathize with customer jobs to be done, pain points and understand why they do things the way they do today.?

  • Analyze metrics to track actual user behavior to be more proactive on identifying user issues.?

  • Track sales funnel movement and look for accelerators or blockers.?

A Product Expert:

  • Understands user experience and how it solves problems in their day-to-day workflows.?

  • Complete understanding of the product's features, benefits and value proposition.?

  • Comfortable educating internal teams (training, support, sales) .

  • Drives product documentation to memorialize key product elements and empower knowledge transfer.?

  • Demonstrates Product Management Discipline Expert by driving all stages of the product lifecycle from ideation to launch to scale and end of life.
