Visa’s Product team is looking for a driven student to join and support the Product team on strategic initiatives and projects related to the commercialization of our Digital, Risk, Consumer and Benefit Products. This role will work closely with the various product teams across a variety of strategic projects within Canada to help grow Value Added Services (VAS) revenues.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter that is highly analytical with strong excel, reporting and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Support the product team in strategic initiatives and projects related to our VAS revenue development, this includes but are not limited to strategic forecasting, opportunity sizing and revenue projections.
- Support Visa's internal and client-facing teams by helping to develop reporting, sales materials, toolkits, and training materials; facilitate the organization of materials for easy access.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) testing for various products.
- Develop deep understanding of our Product use cases and conduct industry research and identify internal and external data resources to create custom analytics to map individual use case verticals and the opportunities they represent
- Manage moderately complex assignments that are diverse in scope and search out appropriate courses of action.
Flex Work Arrangement - Hybrid Position - This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled and pursuing an undergraduate or master’s degree
- Strong communications skills, clear and concise written and spoken
- Self-motivated, results driven, with the ability to quickly establish clear, well
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to process and summarize large amounts of data into key strategic insights
- Ability to form hypotheses on client issue root causes and validate thinking quickly using data
- Strong detail orientation, ensuring the highest level of quality and rigor throughout all work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a cross functional team
- Proficiency in using general Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Excel and PowerPoint
