Role Overview

Production Operator

We are looking for:

A Production Operator for our site in Lock Haven, PA. This candidate will be a key contributor to our day to day operations. As a Production Operator, a candidate will use machinery and computer systems to mix chemicals, conduct tank to tank transfers, blend materials, and various other operations related to production. A candidate will also be required to load and unload tanker trucks which will be conducted outdoors in various weather conditions.

We count on you for:

  • Report all accidents, upset conditions, and near misses to the shift leader immediately.
  • Work with the shift leader to provide proper shift coverage. This includes vacations, illnesses, and OT.
  • Carry out all production operations as defined by the shift leader.
  • Focus on plant housekeeping. Before the end of the shift all areas free of debris and trash, equipment put away, and all containers labeled.
  • Report all spills, unintended discharges to the sump, etc to the shift leader immediately.
  • Ensure all documentation (batch sheets, loading and unloading checklists, receiving paperwork, etc) are filled out completely and correctly.
  • Provide suggestions for process or equipment improvements.
  • Provide recommendations on a regular basis to HSE Engineer.
  • Attend and complete all required training.

You will bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, and/or chemical plant environment is preferred.

You will get:

  • Competitive salary; salary range of $23.00-$25.00/hourly. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

  • Must have the ability to work under pressure and change assignments quickly
