Wage: $27.00/hour

Work Schedule: Continental shift - 42 hours a week - 12 hour shifts; bi-weekly rotation of 7 days on DAYS (7 am to 7 pm), then 7 days on NIGHTS (7 pm to 7 am)

Location: The position is based in Etobicoke

What You’ll Do As The Production Line Leader:

• Supervise a team; ensure training support of employees, provide guidance to staff, assist workers on day-to-day operations, educate team on mechanisms & procedures.
• Reviews production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.
• Develops plans for efficient use of material, machines and employees.
• Plans production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
• Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and direct the set-up and adjustments of machines.
• Interpret Company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations; and take disciplinary action when necessary.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules when equipment breaks down - and arrange repairs to machinery immediately by contacting the maintenance or outside help as per contingency plan.
• Maintains quality control, time and production records.
• Confers with other Shift Supervisors & quality control team
• Coordinates production and activities to ensure the product is ready prior to the shipping window.
• Responsible as the “Designated Person” for the Emergency Response Plan.
• Comply at all times with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company Comply at all times with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
• Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP

• Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Job Requirement & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
• A strong leader with natural ability to lead teams and influence others.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to solve problems.
• Knowledge of MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An ambitious self-starter with a strong desire to grow professionally.
