Job description
Responsibilities –
Expected to work in either the company office or client office environment.
The candidate will be expected to:
- Develop and maintain program schedules identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for construction projects of various types
- Monitor and actively participate in project and program scheduling issues while administering best practices and standards
- Obtain accurate and timely program schedule updates from project teams and perform QA/QC on information received
- Create and develop conceptual what-if schedules for multiple project types including large complex multi-year projects
- Perform Critical Path analyses and Earned Value analyses
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as directed by management
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Experience –
- 5 years of full-time paid professional experience in scheduling for an owner or general contractor, preferably working on multiple educational facilities or public works projects
- Proficiency in Primavera Latest Version and MS Office Suite
- Experience with projects using Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods
Required Education –
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
Required Skills –
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior organizational and planning skills
- Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff
Physical Requirements –
Must be able to carry 20 lbs. for a distance of 50 feet and be able to perform simply grasping, pushing, pulling and fine hand manipulation.
Must have legal status to work in the US. If not a US citizen or Permanent Resident, GCC will not sponsor or transfer work visas.
Salary –
Salary will be based upon experience and qualifications, however the range for this full-time fully benefitted exempt salaried position is $155,000 to $165,000 annually.
