Reporting to the Director, Project Management and Project Supports, the Project Coordinator will provide administration support for various projects related to optimizing the health and wellness of the residents in our community. Reporting to the Director, Project Management and Project Supports, the Project Coordinator will provide administration support for various projects related to optimizing the health and wellness of the residents in our community. This role is an entry-level project management position which may lead to more senior roles in project management as part of future career development.
Responsibilities:
· Support Director to develop, implement, continuously improve, and maintain program and project management structures and tools to enable effective management and delivery of projects
· Provide day-to-day project support and coordination for Project Managers and Directors
· Perform administrative tasks for projects such arranging meetings and schedules, preparing/circulating agendas, documenting meeting minutes, documenting lessons learned, and preparing presentations and progress status reports
· Ensure quality and timely delivery of meeting minutes, status updates, and project-related documentation to stakeholders
· Track action items and follow-up on tasks, issues, roadblocks and work with the Project Managers to update project schedules and artifacts
· Engage and maintain relationships with system partners (organizations, patients/residents, families, caregivers) relevant to the scope of the project
· Maintain project documentation repositories
Qualifications:
· Post-secondary certificate or diploma in an business administration or a health related field or equivalent work experience as a project administrator
· Minimum two (2) years of experience in health and community services, project management, research, evaluation or administrative roles
· Experience in the application of project management methods, tools and techniques - Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or formal project management training would be considered an asset
· Experience supporting management level meetings and governing bodies
· Experience in working in a team-oriented, collaborative and diverse environment
· Proven effectiveness in engaging with patients, families and caregivers along with a variety of community agencies
· Effective organizational, interpersonal, communication and time-management skills
· Excellent relationship building, diplomacy, conflict management, problem solving and change management skills
· Ability to quickly and effectively establish rapport with project team members and stakeholders
· Ability to function effectively during periods of rapid change, transition, and ambiguity
· Demonstrated professionalism, including taking ownership for work, meeting commitments, good judgment, and diplomacy
· An aptitude for accuracy, analytics, and attention to detail
· Ability to work effectively on multiple projects and meet competing deadlines
· Ability to communicate with Project Managers and other stakeholders with varying degrees of skill levels from a project management and controls perspective
· Proficient in MS Office Suite including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project™, and MS Visio
· Fluent oral and written communication skills in multiple languages is an asset

Salary: $57,000.00-$63,000.00 per year
