Baytech plastics, an injection moulding contract manufacturer located on the shores of Georgian Bay, is currently seeking a qualified, high-energy, self-motivated and dedicated individual for our Engineering Department.

Qualifications:

• University or College graduate in Engineering Technology with at least 5 years experience in an injection moulding facility.
• Excellent organization and communication skills with effective decision making and problem solving capabilities.
• Computer skills in MS-Office, MS-Project. CAD experience a benefit.
• Familiar with APQP management, PPAP submissions,FMEA’s and ISO procedure.
• Background with thermoplastic injection moulds, processing and secondary operations.
• Familiar with product requirements for design of manufacturing
• Ability to travel with overnight stays required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple project tasks and priorities with emphasis on quality, timing, budget and customer satisfaction.
• Manage suppliers of injection moulds and secondary equipment.
• Technical liaison with customers, suppliers and operational departments.
• Adhere to APQP management to ensure successful plant wide execution of program launches.
• Assist with mould try-out s and sample submissions (PPAP).
