Job description
Baxter Manufacturing, located in South Carolina has an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer at its new Westminster plant. Qualifications include:
- Experience in Quality Engineering in automotive plastic injection molding environment preferred
- Understanding of TS16949 quality systems and processes to ensure company and customer standards are met is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Ability to respond to customer concerns, both internally and externally
- Knowledge of 8-D/ASQ Problem Solving methodology to improve product quality
- Knowledge of SPC, CMM, PPAP, DOE and continuous improvement desired
- Self motivated, able to work with minimal direction
